ModtankPOD - DIY SLIMLINE

When connecting a pump, suction hose must be used from the last tank fitted T fitting.

ModtankPOD is designed and tested to be connected together with low cost, 25mm poly irrigation tubing, elbows, ratchet clamps

on to a pump or hose to feed larger tanks

Prepare the base using well bedded pavers or a concrete slab ensuring the base is flat, level and not subject to subsidence when the tank is filled increasing the tank’s weight to 525 kilos.

Connect overflow in the tank back to the down pipe and storm water.

To activate the overflow, remove the PVC gutter pop and saw off the stepped spigot.

Replace the gutter pop with a smear of silicone sealant under the self-tappers.

Redirect down pipe to leaf diverter in the top of the tank.

If you are unsure of the base stability or the tank is subjected to high winds, it is strongly advised you stabilize the tank by attaching the top to a wall or supporting upright.

Fix a galvanized right angle bracket or similar to the wall and the top of the tank with a smear of silicone sealant under self-tappers.

Moulded from food grade UV stabilized polyethylene in red, green, grey & beige, ModtankPODs comply with objectives standard AS/NZ 4766 polyethylene storage tanks for water and chemicals.
